Philippines trip 2008

Greetings from the Philippines,

After 31 hours traveling we made it to the Philippines. Our trip started out with putting all our luggage on the scale and the first three luggages were 30 lbs. overweight. We changed everything around and then were on our way all the way to Minneapolis. We arrived on time in Minneapolis and that was the last time we were on time. The plane we were going to fly on was having difficulties with a sound system so we were delayed for four hours which then we were delayed in Japan. We then got to the Philippines on Wednesday night at 11:30 and then all the first timers were able to experience Philippine traffic. There was a major accident and the driver of the jeepney probably didn't survive. Our first day in the Philippines was jam packed. We had a tour of the facilities, and then went on our first ministry opportunity we went to the school in the garbage dump everyone got to share with the kids, and I was able to make balloons for the kids we passed out bread and gave kids candy. Then everyone was able to experience the town by exchanging money, and buying soap for the jail ministry. Then last night we went to a life group. I am so sorry that this is so late the internet was down yesterday, and I will be posting pictures tomorrow as we will have a little more free time. I will be speaking for the third time this afternoon, and preaching tonight. We all miss everyone and we are having a great time. The Frontline ministry would like to thank everyone who donated things it was such a blessing, and I will get pictures of the distribution as well. Until tomorrow Have a great day!!!!!
